Gaming Headphones Comparison CORSAIR HS60 vs HyperX Cloud Stinger

Gaming Headphones

Here’s a quick comparison of these mid-range gaming headphones that we have used with our systems.  These both are multi-platform so if you have more than 1 system they are great.

These have both performed admirably and are lightweight with soft ear cups so gaming for hours is doable.  The Corsair is slightly heavier, but not too noticeable.  If you check out other gaming headphones you’ll notice these are on the lighter side of most so long term use is achievable.

The swivel to mute feature of the HyperX Cloud Stinger worked very well at first, but after around 9 months of use it started to cause some sound distortion.  The Stinger does have a wider range of microphone sensitivity however so should be a little more accurate.  It’s possible we were just too rough with the Mic or used it more than normal.
